In this workshop, participants will explore appliqué quilting and collage using found fabric. Together we’ll make new stories from old cloth.
Appliqué is a quilting technique where shapes are stitched on top of a larger piece of fabric to create designs. Participants will learn appliqué basics and hand stitch their own creations. No prior experience required. Participants will be provided fabric samples and are encouraged to bring their own textiles as well.
🗓️ Tuesday, November 18th | 6 to 8pm 📍 67 West St., Studio 513
