Created by Brooklyn-based artist Agustina Markez in collaboration with SUDESTADA for Objects at Play, this kit gives you everything you need to paint and customize your own ceramic football.

Each ball is made by Agustina using silicone molds taken from deflated soccer balls, then individually sculpted and glazed. Once in your hands, the ball becomes a canvas for your own color, pattern, and imagination.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Agustina Markez (b. 1998, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a Brooklyn-based immigrant artist working across sculpture, installation, video, and performance. She holds a BFA in Visual Arts and Art History from SUNY Purchase and an MFA in Sculpture from RISD. Her work has been exhibited at institutions including Microscope Gallery, Attleboro Arts Museum, Kates-Ferri Projects, and the RISD Museum.
