Designed by Sol Pardo and handcrafted in collaboration with Mola Sasa, these decorative cushions bring together contemporary design and the traditional textile practice of the Guna Dule community of Caimán Alto, Colombia.

Each piece is made using the community’s distinctive appliqué technique, in which multiple layers of fabric are cut and sewn entirely by hand to create intricate compositions of color, pattern, and form. The collection brings this ancestral craft into a series of six unique designs conceived by Pardo.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Sol Pardo (b. 1989, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a multidisciplinary designer and creative director working across fashion, performance, and object design. Through PARDOhats, her practice explores craftsmanship, materiality, and the accessory as an expressive and sculptural object.

In 2015, she was named Accessory Designer of the Year by Harper’s Bazaar Argentina, and in 2017 was selected by Vogue Italia for Vogue Talents.
