ABOUT ANA MARÍA BRILLEMBOURG
Ana María Brillembourg is a Venezuelan, New York-based fashion professional and collector of vintage buttons. With a background in fashion wholesale, she has spent the past several years working at globally recognized fashion brand’s, an experience that has given her a deep understanding of the industry’s many layers.
Through her creative project, Edit by A.M.B., Ana María explores another side of fashion: one rooted in design and craftsmanship. Her growing archive of vintage buttons serves as the foundation for her reimagined garments, demonstrating how the simple act of redesigning a button can transform a piece entirely, turning what was once functional into something expressive: a work of art, a piece of jewelry, that gives the garment a new identity.
