Bufanda Calchaqui
Bufanda Calchaqui
Dallá Paracá is an experimental textile studio from Argentina that blends innovation with tradition to honor artisanal practices. Deeply committed to supporting craft communities, the brand creates unique, handwoven pieces that celebrate the richness of textile heritage while exploring contemporary techniques. Through sustainable sourcing and a reverence for handmade quality, Dallá Paracá offers thoughtfully designed garments that embody the essence of craftsmanship and the enduring beauty of cultural storytelling.
This series is woven by Silvina Salva in Salta, using Merino sheep’s wool on a traditional regional comb loom. Inspired by the Calchaquí Valleys—a system of valleys and mountains in the northwest of Argentina—this region is considered one of the most remarkable places in the country. The Indigenous peoples of the Diaguita-Cacano ethnic complex settled in these valleys, fostering the development of diverse cultures. Among their many contributions, their legacy in traditional textile techniques stands out, many of which remain alive and continue to inspire local artisans today.
Each pieces comes with a descriptive tag, a certificate of authenticity, a tote bag.
