Join us for an informal gathering initiated by exhibition artist and chef Athena Kokoronis to bring the Wool Skirts community together.
🗓️ Sunday, January 11th | From 6 to 8pm 📍 67 West St. Studio 513
This convivial evening welcomes all for conversation and home-cooked dishes inspired by Audrey Huset's recipe books—archives in their own right that grew alongside her collection of 632 wool skirts. Athena will lead with an introduction exploring cookbooks as archives and will present dishes drawn from Audrey's recipes. Participating artists will share briefly (7–15 minutes each) about their work, process, and relationship to archives, materials, memory, and method in the context of the exhibition.
Guests are invited to taste, experience the exhibition, and join in conversation about home archives, home cooking, and the threads that connect us. In the spirit of a potluck, attendees may bring a dish to share from their own recipe books.
